Kingston Green Radio is celebrating its 12th birthday in March!
Please do listen in and join us for a weeks worth of special events, starting on Monday 4th March, to celebrate our achievements.
On Wednesday 6th March, we have a very special ‘Great Green Debate’ with a fantastic panel of politicians discussing the big environmental issues of the day.
On the panel are:
- Seb Dance MEP (Deputy Leader of the European Parliamentary Labour Party)
- Jean Lambert MEP (Green Party Member of the European Parliament and Vice President of the Green/European Free Alliance Group of MEPs)
- Sarah Olney (Former Liberal Democrat MP for Richmond Park and North Kingston)
- Cllr Aphra Brandreth (Councillor for Barnes Ward, and Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Kingston and Surbiton).
- Hosted by Radio Jackie and Kingston Green Radio presenter Henry Riley.
And on International Women’s Day (Friday 8th March), Kingston Green Radio is hosting a special panel at 6:30pm.
On the panel are:
- Siobhan Benita (Former Civil Servant and 2012 Independent Candidate for Mayor of London, currently the Liberal Democrat Candidate for Mayor of London in 2020).
- Cllr Liz Green (The Leader of Kingston Council)
- Michelle Akintoye BEM (Founder and CEO of the BRITAFRIQUE a non-profit organsiation for young people in education)
- Deborah Walls (The Executive Headteacher of the Coombe Academy Trust)
- Our very own Jean Vidler MBE will host the event!
